Know the politics of Rahul and Amethi …
Rahul Gandhi was a Amethi MP from 2004 to 2019. From Amethi, Rahul Gandhi had his hat -trick in the Lok Sabha elections. In 2014, Smriti Irani came to Amethi to contest the election for the first time in front of Rahul, but lost by about one lakh votes. Even after the defeat, Smriti did not leave Amethi. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, it showed its impact and Smriti was elected MP for the first time in Amethi, who was a stronghold of Irani Gandhi family. Smriti defeated Rahul Gandhi by 55 thousand 120 votes. However, Rahul won from Wayanad seat in Kerala. After this, BJP leaders, including Smriti, had called Rahul even a fugitive.
It is the house of Smriti Irani in Mein Mavai village of Amethi. He worshiped home entry here on 22 February 2024.
However, the circumstances changed after 5 years. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Smriti lost to Congress candidate Kishori Lal Sharma from Amethi seat by 1.67 lakh votes. Sharma got 5 lakh 39 thousand 228 votes, while Smriti got only 3 lakh 72 thousand 32 votes. Smriti Irani lagged behind Sharma in every round. After winning the election, Kishori Lal Sharma became active in his parliamentary constituency Amethi and continued to reach Amethi. At the same time, Smriti Irani did not return after losing the election.
Smriti has built her house in the middle of the fields as soon as she enters the Mewai village in Amethi. Paintings of Lord Rama, Hanuman and Sita Haran are made on the wall. This big house is quite famous in Amethi. This house, which decided Amethi politics from 2019 to June 4, 2024, is now deserted.
