The party general secretary also reiterated that the phased movement will continue with the slogan of “not census” until the Sarna Dharma Code is recognized. Earlier, the proposed demonstration on this issue on 9 May was postponed due to a tense situation between India and Pakistan. Now the party has once again decided to raise the issue vigorously.

The party has directed all district presidents, secretaries and convenors to organize related meetings and ensure preparations for the May 27 program. The demonstration will include officials, MPs, MLAs and ministers of the Central Committee of JMM. Also, party workers have been instructed to be present in large numbers. At the same time, the BJP has accused the JMM of pretending to pretend to be shedding crocodile tears and opposition to Sarna Dharma Code.
