A police sub-inspector was killed and five injured in a painful road accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway near Unnao in Uttar Pradesh. The accident occurred when the speeding Ertiga car hit the moving bus from behind. The collision was so strong that the sub-inspector Manjit Singh in the car died on the spot. Five other people in the car were seriously injured.
Circle officer Arvind Kumar said that a team of Amethi police was returning with the missing girl. Policemen and family members of the girl were riding in the car. The deceased has been identified as Sub Inspector Manjit Singh, resident of Lucknow. Head constable Pradeep Tiwari has been referred to Halat Hospital in Kanpur due to head injury.

Police car collides with private bus on Agra-Lucknow Expressway
A 35-year-old sub-inspector died on the spot and six injured when a collision between a high speed Ertiga car and a private bus carrying a police team. Police said the accident occurred on Friday at around 6 am in Bangarmau police station area near ‘Kilm Number 238’. Police officer Arvind Kumar said that the Amethi police team was returning with a missing girl.

Policemen and family members of the girl were also in the car. He said that Sub -Inspector Manjit Singh died in the accident, while head constable Pradeep Tiwari suffered a head injury, who has been taken to Halat Hospital in Kanpur. Kumar said that Santosh, Pawan, Dharmendra and five others including two women have suffered minor injuries, who have been sent to the district hospital. The front of the Ertiga car was badly damaged due to the collision. Eyewitnesses said that the car’s speed was very fast and it took more than 30 minutes for the rescuers to remove the body of the lion, which was stuck between the steering and the seat.

According to the police, the body has been sent for postmortem and passengers of the damaged bus registered in Bihar have been taken by alternative vehicles. Police said the bus cleaner has been taken into police custody and the owner has been informed.
