Ahead of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s open debate on Main Punjab Bolda Haan to be held in Ludhiana on Wednesday, the police have started arresting protesters. Gangster-turned Kabaddi player and social worker Lakha Sidhana has been detained in Bathinda. Currently, two police vehicles have been deployed outside his house.

Lakha Sidhana is one of them, who has announced to oppose the open debate to be held in Ludhiana on Wednesday. Along with this, recently Lakha Sidhana had also reached the debate held on the invitation of Congress MLA and former minister Pargat Singh from Jalandhar and had a conversation with Balwinder Singh Jatana’s family about the water issue and the SYL canal. On the other hand, Sidhana had announced that he would come to this debate and oppose it and surround every party.

Along with Lakha Sidhana, Kirti Kisan Union, Asha Workers Union, Anganwadi Employees Union, Water Supply and Sanitation Employees Union have also announced a dharna.
