Chandigarh, March 20: In a recent development in the matter pertaining to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security lapse incident last year, the Punjab Government has initiated disciplinary proceedings against then-Punjab DGP Siddharth Chattopadhya, then-DIG Inderbir Singh and then SSP Ferozepur Harmandeep Hans.

Taking big action into the matter, the department of Home Affairs and Justice also sought explanation from Naresh Arora the then ADGP Law & Order, Nageshwara Rao IPS, then ADGP Crime, Sh. Mukhvinder Singh China IPS, the Patiala Range, Sh. Rakesh Agrawal IPS, then IG Counter Intelligence-cum-ASLO & Nodal Officer, Sh. Surjeet Singh IPS, then DIG Faridkot and Sh. Singh then Moga why disciplinary proceedings should not be initiated against them as recommended by the inquiry committee.
