PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the development of development, Dwarka Expressway and UR-II to Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated two important projects in Delhi, Delhi section of Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II). He was accompanied by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini.
Journey of development of Delhi
Addressing the public on the occasion, PM Modi said that these projects are a new chapter of development for Delhi. He said, ‘Dwarka Expressway and UER-II will have a lot of convenience to the people of Delhi, Gurugram and the entire NCR (National Capital Region). Office will save time and go, which will also benefit traders, traders and farmers.

Unique model of garbage road
PM Modi told a special thing about UER-II. He said, ‘Millions of tonnes of waste has been used to make this road. This will help to free Delhi from the garbage mountains, as their West Material has been used in road construction by reducing the garbage heap. This initiative further strengthens the mantra of ‘Green Delhi – Clean Delhi’.
Other development works going on in Delhi
The Prime Minister also appreciated the efforts of the BJP government of Delhi. He said that the work of cleaning the Yamuna river under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta continues. So far 16 lakh metric tonnes of silt has been removed. Apart from this, 650 electric buses have also been started in Delhi, whose number will be more than 2,000 in future. All these efforts show the goal of making Delhi a great and developed city.
PM Modi said, ‘Today the whole world is looking at the development of India. We have to make Delhi a model where everyone feels that it is the capital of developing India. He said that this campaign to improve Delhi will continue continuously.

Dwarka Expressway and UR-II inaugurated
Dwarka Expressway and UR-II, both projects are very important for facilitating traffic in Delhi-NCR and reducing congestion.
Dwarka Expressway (Delhi Block)
Length and Cost: The Delhi section of Dwarka Expressway is 10.1 km long and its construction has cost about Rs 5,360 crore.
Objective: This will reduce the crowd on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway. This road will also make the journey between Delhi and Haryana easier.
Properties: It is an 8-lane elevated expressway, including several flyovers and underpasses. Its Delhi section will provide better connectivity between Indira Gandhi International Airport and Dwarka.
Urban expansion road-II (Uer-II)
Length and Cost: The total length of UER-II is about 76 km, of which 54 km is in Delhi and 21 km in Haryana. Its total cost is around Rs 8,000 crore.
Objective: This road is known as the third ring road of Delhi. This will help reduce traffic burden from the interiors of Delhi. It will connect Alipur in North Delhi to Mahipalpur in South Delhi, which passes through major areas like Rohini, Mundka, Najafgarh and Dwarka.
Important thing: Millions of tonnes of waste have been used in the construction of this road, making it an important project -friendly project. This will significantly reduce the journey from Singhhu border to Indira Gandhi International Airport.
