PM Modi’s visit to Mumbai on Saturday, will inaugurate international cruise terminal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the state -of -the -art Mumbai International Cruise Terminal on 20 September (Saturday). According to a statement by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Prime Minister Modi will also go to Gujarat to participate in the ‘Samriddhi’ program on 20 September and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many development projects worth more than Rs 34,200 crore in Bhavnagar at around 10:30 am, as well as addressing the meeting.

Subsequently, Prime Minister will conduct an aerial survey of Dholera. Around 1:30 pm, he will preside over a review meeting and visit the National Maritime Heritage Complex in Lothal. Giving a major boost to the sea sector, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects related to the maritime sector costing more than Rs 7,870 crore. He will inaugurate the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal at Indira Dock. He was a new container terminal in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Port, Kolkata and related features; A new container berth, cargo handling facilities and related development works at Paradip port; And Tuna Tekra will lay the foundation stone of multi-cargo terminal.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of coastal security works including fire fighting facilities at Kamarajar port in Annor and modern road connectivity and sea walls and revatments at Chennai port. Additionally, a sea wall construction on the car Nicobar Island, a multi -purpose cargo berth and green biomethanol plant at Deendayal port of Kandla, and ship repair facilities in Patna and Varanasi will also be laid.

According to his commitment to overall and sustainable development, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several projects costing more than Rs 26,354 crore from the central and state governments connected to various regions of Gujarat. They will inaugurate the HPLNG reorganization terminal at the Chara port, Acrylic and Oxo Alcohol Project at the Gujarat IOCL Refinery, 600 MW Green Shoe initiative, PM-Kusum 475 MW Component C Solar Feeder, 45 MW Budli Solar PV Project and other projects of Dhordod Village.
