Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the much awaited Yellow Line Metro in Bengaluru, in which CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM Shivkumar were also present with him. Prior to the inauguration, the Karnataka Congress had targeted the central government, alleging low funds for the metro project and delay, despite this the new line will reduce traffic in IT hub.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the much awaited Namma Metro line in Bengaluru. On this occasion, he traveled in the metro along with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar. During this time a video of the conversation between PM Modi, Siddaramaiah and Shivkumar has also surfaced.

Metro will get relief from traffic jam
This new metro line will help reduce the traffic congestion in many busy areas connecting the city’s IT hub. After the inauguration, the Prime Minister traveled from RV Road (Ragigudda) to Electronic City Metro Station. During this journey, he also talked to the students.

Karnataka Congress had targeted PM before inauguration
Prior to this inauguration, Congress leaders of Karnataka accused Prime Minister Modi and BJP of neglecting Bengaluru. Congress leaders claimed that the central government had allocated less funds for the metro project, due to which the project was delayed.
