BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal said that Prime Minister will rain Bihar in a huge rally to be held in Bikramganj. Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Patna-Sasaram Four Lane Road, Bihta Airport Terminal, Varanasi-Ranchi Six Lane Expressway and Nabinagar Thermal Power Plant of 600 MW.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Patna on 29 May. The same evening he will inaugurate the new terminal of Patna Airport. Senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that the Prime Minister will address a public meeting in Bikramganj in Rohtas on May 30 the next day. Earlier, he was scheduled to visit Bihar on 30 May. Since Bihar assembly elections are due this year, there is a possibility of meeting senior leaders of BJP and other NDA allies during Modi’s night stay in Patna.

This will be the first Bihar tour of the Prime Minister after the success of Operation Sindoor on Pakistani terrorist camps after the Pahalgam terror attack. On April 22, 26 tourists were killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. Prime Minister Modi, while addressing a rally in Madhubani on 24 April, vowed to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that a team from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) will visit the proposed sites for new airports in Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Valmiki Nagar, Birpur, Saharsa and Munger from 22 to 27 May and will prepare a viability report. The new terminal building will have Artificial Intelligence (AI) based security and management system. Its walls are decorated with Mithila and 3D paintings while passengers will get high-speed free Wi-Fi, automatic check-in, VIP lounge, dormatry, air traffic control system and fire stations.
