Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated ‘Panchjanya’ built in honor of the sacred conch of Lord Krishna in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was also with him. Next, Prime Minister Modi visited the Mahabharata Experience Centre, an immersive experiential center featuring artefacts depicting important episodes of the Mahabharata, highlighting its enduring cultural and spiritual significance.

Prime Minister Modi will also participate in a special event to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur. During the event, the Prime Minister will release a special coin and commemorative postage stamp to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of the revered Guru, a release said. On this occasion he will also address the gathering present. To commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the Government of India is observing a year-long commemoration.
At around 5:45 pm, the Prime Minister will pay darshan and worship at Brahma Sarovar, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in India, which is believed to be associated with the divine revelation of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. The visit coincides with the ongoing International Geeta Mahotsav in Kurukshetra, which is currently being held from November 15 to December 5. Prime Minister Modi reached Kurukshetra after hoisting the saffron flag on the 191-foot-high peak of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, marking the completion of the temple construction.

The ‘Dharma Flag’ bears three sacred symbols, Om, Surya and the Kovidar tree, each of which represents the deep spiritual values inherent in the Sanatan tradition. The right-angled triangular flag is 10 feet high and 20 feet long. The Kovidar tree is a hybrid tree of Mandar and Parijat trees, created by sage Kashyap, which shows ancient plant hybridization. Surya represents the Suryavansh of Lord Rama and Om is the eternal spiritual sound.
