Prime Minister Modi posted, “President Trump, thank you for your phone call and Diwali wishes. On this festival of lights, may our two great democracies continue to show a ray of hope to the world and remain united against terrorism in all its forms.”
Trump celebrated Diwali at the White House
According to a report, there was some excitement at the White House on Tuesday, when President Donald Trump attended the Diwali celebrations and extended warm wishes to the people of India and the Indian-American community.
