11 people died in a terrible road accident in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. The accident occurred in the Itia Wholesale police station area, where an overload bolero fell uncontrollably into the canal. A total of 15 people were riding in Bolero, who were residents of Motiganj police station area and were going to worship at Prithvi Nath temple.
Rescue and relief work
Local villagers and police immediately started rescue operations as soon as the accident was received. SP Vineet Jaiswal of Gonda said, ‘The rescue team has taken out 4 people, including 2 children and drivers safely. He has been sent to the hospital for treatment. Police have recovered 11 bodies from the canal, which have been sent for post -mortem. Initial investigation is said to be overloading, the main reason for the accident.

Chief Minister expressed grief and assistance of assistance
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over this sad incident. He expressed his condolences to the victim’s families and directed the officials to immediately reach the spot and expedite the relief work. The Chief Minister has also directed for better treatment of the injured.
Along with this, he has announced financial assistance of Rs 5-5 lakh to the families of people who lost their lives in the accident. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has directed to provide medical facilities and immediate financial assistance.
Prime Minister Relief Fund will get help
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced financial assistance for the families of people who lost their lives in the Gonda accident. 2 lakh rupees will be given to the family of each deceased from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. Along with this, an ex -gratia amount of Rs 50,000 will be given to those injured in this accident.
