New Delhi. Farmers are once again expecting relief under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The central government is preparing to release the 21st installment of this scheme soon. Let us tell you that under PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6000 every year, which is given in three equal installments i.e. Rs 2000 every four months.
As per the current information, till now crores of farmers across the country have got the benefit of 20 installments, and the 21st installment can be released by the end of October or before Diwali. However, the official date for releasing the installment has not been announced yet by the government.
It is noteworthy that the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started in 2019, so that farmers can be provided direct financial assistance for their farming related needs. The benefit of this scheme is available only to those farmers whose name is included in the beneficiary list.

You have to go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the website and click on ‘Beneficiary Status’. After this, by entering the Aadhaar number or bank account number, you will get information whether the farmer has received the previous installments or not and what is the status of the next installment.
At the same time, farmers whose mobile number is not linked to the scheme or has changed, can update the new number through the ‘Update Mobile Number’ option by visiting the website. For this, the process of Aadhaar details and OTP verification has to be completed.
Let us tell you that in recent times, many cases of fraud through fake websites and messages in the name of PM Kisan Yojana have come to light. In such a situation, the government has advised farmers to be cautious. Farmers have been asked not to click on any unknown link or WhatsApp message. Any update or service related to the scheme should be obtained from the official website only.
