New Delhi/Amravati. A tree plantation program was successfully organized by Sudarshana Foundation in Delhi and Amravati, Maharashtra for environmental protection. The members of the Foundation enthusiastically participated in this initiative and conveyed the message of environmental protection to the society.
Sadashi Yashika Nagpurkar planted a tree under the guidance of United Deshmukh, President of Foundation in Delhi. Explaining the importance of plantation to the local citizens, he appealed to plant more and more trees. “Planting trees is an important step not only for the environment, but also for future generations.”
Meanwhile, in Amravati, Maharashtra, Chhaya Motiram Aae, Usha Kailas Parachke and Nalu Shekhar Dhanaviz organized a tree plantation program in Amravati, Maharashtra. Local people were included in this program and emphasis was laid on environmental awareness. Vidya Ganes said, “Plantation is a symbol of our responsibility towards nature. We will continue to organize such programs in future also.”
Sudarshana Foundation effectively spread the message of environmental protection and social awareness through this program. The initiative held at both places received enthusiastic support from the local people. The Foundation has also pledged to organize such programs in future.
