Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said that we never talk on gun tip. Lack of good times inspires us to interact quickly, but we do not hurry in any deal until we secure the interests of our country and our people.
In the Italy-India Trade, Science and Technology Forum in Delhi, Goyal said this on a business discussion between Indo-US. He said- India’s trade talks with America, Britain, European Union and many other countries around the world are moving well with the spirit of India First. Our way for India developed till 2047 during the Amrit period is moving.
In fact, India and the United States have targeted to finalize the first phase of their trade agreement by September-October, with a target to double the bilateral trade by 2030 to double the US $ 191 billion to US $ 500 billion.
Jaishankar said- America is very ambitious
Speaking at the Carnegie Global Technology Summit, another event, External Affairs Minister Dr. Jaishankar said- America has been very ambitious, the global landscape is very different compared to last year. The trade agreement with the US is very challenging. We are with high level preparation this time.
He said- When I look at business deals, I mean the credit for this does not go straight to me, but we have to do a lot with each other. I mean, these people are at the top in their game, they are very ambitious about what they want to achieve.
He further said that just as America has a view about India, similarly India also has a view about America. And this is something that he did not understand last time. We first spoke for four years during the trump administration.
Jaishankar said that if you look at the European Union, people often say that we have been talking for 30 years, which is not completely true, because we had a lot of time and no one was talking to each other. But they have become a very long process. China’s decisions in terms of global market are also important as America’s decisions.
