Patna DM directed to remove encroachment from ISBT metro station

Patna District Officer Tyagarajan SM On Saturday, he conducted a detailed inspection of the Patna Metro Prorty Corridor with his team. On this occasion, Additional Managing Director of Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Joint Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department, Abhilasha Sharma was also present. The inspection started from Patna Zero Mile Metro Station, where both the parking area and passenger facilities were reviewed with their team. The team then inspected the ISBT metro station, where the problem of encroachment and the status of approach road was discussed.

After this, arrangements related to crowd control and exit of passengers were observed at Bhootnath Metro station. Finally, both of them got information about rolling stock and operational preparations by going to the metro depot. During the inspection, the District Magistrate of Patna Tyagarajan SM Directed the officials to ensure adequate and systematic parking space at all stations. He also directed to take quick and effective action to remove encroachments from the area around the metro station.

He said that a concrete strategy of crowd management should be adopted as the number of passengers at all metro stations increases. Tyagarajan and Abhilasha Sharma said that after the completion of the above arrangements, Patna Metro will soon be made available to the public as a safe, modern and convenient transport option. The government aims to provide a comfortable, safe and easy travel experience to every passenger Patna Metro.
