Mumbai : Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ is breaking records one after the other at the box office. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan can be accurately described as a ‘blockbuster’ as it is minting money at the ticket counters day by day. Seeing the film’s earnings, it seems that the fans are not satisfied with watching the film only once. The film has made a mark across the world and this can be clearly seen from the thronging of theaters and the enthusiasm among the people about the film. After earning Rs 60 crore on its fifth day of release (Sunday) itself, the film is on its way to deliver Bollywood’s best ever collection.

According to a media report, the film has earned Rs 25 crore on the very first day. It is the 6th day of the film in the theaters and the total domestic collection of the film has been around Rs 295 crores. It can be predicted that by the end of its seventh day in the theatres, Pathan will easily cross Rs 300 crore mark domestically.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Pathan has left its mark on people not only in India but also across the world. As per a media report, Pathan has earned $25.40 million (Rs 207 crore) at the overseas box office. The film crossed the Rs 500 crore mark globally on Sunday. On Monday, actresses Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Shah Rukh celebrated the success of their film by appearing in front of the media along with the film’s team.

Speaking to reporters present at the press meet, SRK spoke of feeling ‘terrible’ when his films fail and thanked the film’s director Siddharth Anand for giving him and his family ‘happiness’ with Pathan. He said, “It is a big day for us and for my family. We haven’t felt this happiness in a long time. Whenever Siddharth Anand wants me to do Pathan 2, I will do it.’
