President Volodimir Zelansky said at least 30 people were injured in a Russian drone attack at a railway station in Sumi area of Ukraine. In a post, Jailnsky wrote that a cruel Russian drone attack has taken place at the railway station in Shostka in Sumi area. All emergency services have already reached the spot and have started helping people. Complete information is being collected about the injured. So far, at least 30 people are reported to have casualties. Preliminary reports indicate that both the employee and the passenger of Ucrazaliznitsia were present at the place of attack.

Regional Governor Oleh Hrihorov confirmed that a train going to Kiev had been targeted. He said that doctors and rescue teams are working at the scene. A passenger compartment is seen on fire in the photographs shared by Zelansky and Hrhorov.
