The ICC on Sunday (14 September) has rejected Pakistan’s demand to remove the match referee Andy Picroft over the controversy over the controversy over the India-Pakistan match. It is reported that information about this decision was also given to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) last night. Let me tell you that the dispute started when the players of Team India refused to join hands with Pakistani players after winning the match and left the ground, while the team wearing a green jersey was waiting for the Indian team to come out.
In the case of Andy Pycroft, the PCB was allegedly annoyed that he had asked Pakistani captain Salman Ali Aga to not join hands with Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav during the toss. However, according to Cricbuz, the ICC has stated the reason that it is believed that the ACC officials on the field told Picroft that hands would not be shared during the toss.
