Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said that India can take military action anytime after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Talking to Reuters, Asif said,

We have strengthened our army, because now the attack can happen anytime. In such a situation some strategic decisions have to be taken, which have been taken.
Asif said that the Pakistan Army has informed the government about the possible Indian attack. However, he did not clearly explain why he is expected to attack.
Asif said that ‘Pakistan is completely on high alert and we will use nuclear weapons only when there is a direct threat to our existence.’

26 April: Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir
Munir made a statement on two-nation theory on Saturday. He said that Muslims and Hindus are two different nations. Munir was addressing the passing out parade of cadets at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.
He said that Muslims are different from Hindus in all aspects of life- religion, customs, tradition and thinking. Our ancestors have sacrificed a lot to create Pakistan. We know how to protect it.

Shahbaz Sharif while addressing a parade at the Pakistan Military Academy said that Pakistan is being maligned by accusing the Pahalgam attack. Earlier, Pakistan has been accused of such attacks. It should be completely closed. As a responsible country, Pakistan is ready to participate in any neutral and transparent investigation.
Sharif said that India is misleading the world. Without any reliable investigation and evidence, Pakistan is defaming the country by making false accusations. He also said that Pakistan is ready to protect its sovereignty.
