On 16 August 2005, Sukhoi-30 MKI took responsibility as the Commanding Officer of Squadron. This unit recently got an advanced version of the aircraft. Air Marshal Bharti has played a critical role in creating and operating its weapon system.
Air Force Medal received from President in 2008
In Air Marshal Bharti’s leadership, Squadron took part in the Air Force Level Exercise ‘Gagan Shakti’. Through this, the concept of Air Dominance Force is demonterated.
Squadron was appreciated in 2006 and 2007 for excellent performance. In 2006, the UK Royal Air Force with rainbow exercise and Garuda Exercise in 2007 with France Air Force. In 2008, Bharti was awarded the Air Force Medal by the President.
What did Air Marshal tell about Operation Sindoor
After the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, India ran Operation Sindoor. Bihar’s son Air Marshal Bharti played an important role in this operation. Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti monitored the air campaign against Pakistan.
SK Bharti said that, ‘Yesterday we gave the details of the joint operation of’ Operation Sindoor ‘. We said that our fight is with terrorists. Our fight is not with Pakistani military. Pakistan Army intervened, we responded to it.
Our fight was with terrorism and terrorists, on 7 May we only attacked terrorists. The Pakistani army supported the terrorists and we had to respond. The Pakistani Army is responsible for the damage they suffered.

The attack by Pakistan included Chinese origin missiles, including long range rockets, UAV, some Chinese Original Copters and drones. They were killed by our air -ification system.
