Apart from these, Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, Additional District Development Commissioner of Rajouri, was also injured in Pakistani shelling. He died during treatment.
Trump informed about ceasefire US President Donald Trump informed about the ceasefire at around 5:30 pm last evening. He said the post on social media platform x, ‘After a long conversation in the US mediation at night, I am happy to tell that India and Pakistan have agreed to stop immediately and completely. I congratulate the two countries for taking the common manner, intelligent decision. ‘
30 minutes after Trump’s statement, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri held a press brief at 6 pm. He informed that the two countries will no longer take military action against each other.
