Karnataka Excise Minister RB Timmapur said that he does not think that the terrorists would have asked anyone before shooting. The minister said, ‘Will the person who is shooting, will he ask caste or religion? He will just attack and go. He will not stand there and ask anyone’s religion.

BJP spokesperson said- Congress does politics of religious appeasement

BJP spokesperson CR Kesavan said on the remarks of the Karnataka minister, ‘Karnataka Congress minister Timmapur has insulted the families of those killed in the attack. Even in the time of national mourning, the Congress has mortgaged its soul and conscience for its vote bank politics of religious appeasement.

Kesavan also said that this terrorist attack has shocked the entire country and strict action should be taken against Pakistan. India has taken several steps after the terrorist attack, including the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan and abolition of visa services for Pakistani citizens.

There is no need for war with Pakistan- Siddaramaiah

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on April 26 that there is no need for war with Pakistan. We are not in its favor, we should take strict steps for our safety.

Now Siddaramaiah has written a post on X and clarified his statement. He said-
