Today, Paddy procurement is being started in difficult situations in the Punjab today. So the government has set up an 1822 procurement center. This time the target of 190 lakh tonnes has been placed for procurement of paddy. The farmers have been advised to bring to crop mandis because they mapping with Commission agents, so that they could not have any difficulty selling. Floods and rains are about to have a problem of moisture in paddy.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Man has also decided to visit the mandis to review the procurement arrangements. The Chief Minister Mann warned that they would probe into different markets. If any kind of farmers are made with the farmers in the name of moisture, it will not be tolerated. The government will take tough action.
