Actor Rajkumar Rao says that he had been looking for an opportunity to get out of his established image for a long time and got this opportunity through the role of a gangster in his upcoming film owner. The owner is an action thriller film based on the background of Allahabad of the 1980s, which tells the story of ambition, power and existence.
It is directed by Bhaksha Fame Pulkit. On the occasion of the trailer launch of the film, Rao told reporters, “An actor gets very few opportunities to break his image and I always look for similar characters, as I did in Srikanth.” As an actor, there is always a desire to do something new and challenging. Rao and director Pulkit had earlier worked together in the web series Bose: Dead/Alive in 2017. Rao, who has been praised for his acting in films like ‘Shahid’, ‘Newton’, ‘Stree’ and ‘Srikanth’, hoped that the audience would like his work in the film.
