AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi opposed the Waqf Bill (Amendment) by tying a black band in the arm.
AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that BJP does not have a majority in the Lok Sabha. This government rests on crutches. Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister, as he depends on the crutches of Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu, Chirag Paswan and Jayant Chaudhary.
He said- If these four parties do not support this unconstitutional bill (Waqf Bill), then this bill will not be made law. The Waqf Bill will ruin the Muslim Waqf Board forever, but if they support the BJP, I am warning them that Muslims will never forgive them.
He said that this bill should be called a robber (amendment) law, as the BJP -led central government wants to grab Waqf properties. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is lying that no Waqf can go to court against Tribunal.
On Saturday, Owaisi tied a black band in Hyderabad and offered prayers opposing the Waqf Bill. At the behest of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), Muslims were seen tied on the arm in Lucknow, Hyderabad and other cities.
Questions raised on removal of non-Hindu employees from Tirupati temple
Owaisi also questioned the removal of non-Hindu employees from Tirupati temple on Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu. Owaisi said- Naidu wants to remove non-Hindu employees from Tirupati temple. Why are he allowing non-Muslims to become members of the Muslim Waqf Board?
Why are the survey commissioner removing?
Owaisi said that the Waqf bill violates several provisions of the Constitution including Articles 14, 26 and 29. Why are you removing the survey commissioner (according to the proposed bill). This is the post of the most senior officer. It is all for loot. It should be called not Waqf (amendment) but the robbers (amendments) laws.
Owaisi said- Can you not file a (review petition) against the Income Tribunal? Amit Shah is misleading the country and lying.
In fact, the Home Minister said on February 28 that the Waqf (Amendment) Bill sent to JPC in August 2024 would be re -introduced in the current session of Parliament. The government had to bring the amendment bill in the current law as the original law was made due to the politics of appeasement.
He had said that according to the current law made by the Congress, these decisions cannot be challenged in the courts.
BJP MP said- Muslim leaders lie to their community
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari accused Owaisi of lying to the Muslim community. He said- Muslim leaders are constantly lying to the Muslim community on the Waqf Bill. Muslim leaders are tying a black band in the eyes of Muslims. The amendment was based on complaints of more than 10,000 Muslims. People like Owaisi are giving wrong messages to Muslims for appeasement. First JPC was formed and when the bill was prepared, Home Minister Amit Shah asked to suggest, but no one made any suggestion.
