AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday ruled out the possibility of any alliance with India block before the upcoming Bihar assembly elections and reiterated support for forming a third front in the state. Speaking at a public event, Owaisi said that there is no question of joining the Congress -led opposition alliance and accused the opposing parties of targeting his party to suppress the marginalized voices.

According to ANI, Owaisi said that unilateral love will not work … The people of Bihar should understand that the allegations against us are based on lies. They do not want any leader of the poor and oppressed emerge. Owaisi alleged that his political opponents want the people of Bihar to be under him. He said that he wants the people of Bihar to remain their slaves … We will contest our elections well.

Supporting the political option of both BJP -led NDA and India Block, the Hyderabad MP said that AIMIM is in favor of forming a third front in Bihar. Owaisi further said that our Bihar unit president Akhtarul Iman has said that we should try to form a third front. This was an effort from our side. Now everything is in front of the people of Bihar. Earlier this month, the only MLA of AIMIM in Bihar, Akhtarul Iman, wrote a letter to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav demanding to join the Grand Alliance, which currently includes RJD, Congress and Left parties.
