Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Thursday raised a controversy by comparing the terrorists behind the Pahalgam attack and the MPs involved in the all -party delegation representing India’s anti -terrorism message on the global stage. After the Congress leader’s remarks, the BJP strongly criticized without losing time, saying that Jairam Ramesh had made the most disgusting comparison. The Congress leader claimed that the terrorists behind the Pahalgam terror attack were involved in four other attacks and are roaming freely today. He then compared the MPs elected to the all -party delegation to the terrorists and said that both our MPs and terrorists are roaming freely.

Jairam Ramesh told ANI that it was heard that special session can be called on 25 and 26 June as it is the 50th anniversary of the Emergency. He said that these terrorists of Pahalgam were involved in four attacks and still they are roaming around. Our MPs are roaming and terrorists are also roaming. We are asking these questions seriously.
The Congress leader further said that they do not answer these questions. The BJP only targets the Congress party. Their attack is on the Congress party, should be on terrorists. Action should be taken against Pakistan. Terrorists should be arrested. Every day missiles are being fired against the Congress party. Attacking the Congress to make a disgusting comparison between a delegation led by terrorists and MPs of various political parties, BJP spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala said, “In this way, the Congress is not only a pinch of our military attack (Operation Sindoor) but also a less of our diplomatic attack.” He further questioned, “Should Parliament not take action on them?”
