Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, said that his country would never see South Korea as a partner for diplomatic talks. Government media gave this information on Wednesday.
His statement is seen as a fresh comment on new attempts to improve relations by Seoul. Kim Yo Jong, one of the top officials of Kim Jong -Un’s foreign policy, described South Korea and America’s ongoing military exercise as a preparation for the attack and said that Seoul’s “bad intent against North Korea is” hidden “against peace attempts.
North Korea’s official ‘Korean Central News Agency’ (KCNA) reported in the news that he made the comment during a meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday. In this meeting, he discussed his brother’s diplomatic strategies amidst constant dangers and rapidly changing geopolitical landscapes with the opponents.
Earlier, on Monday, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un condemned the ongoing military exercise between South Korea and the US, as well as pledged to raise the country’s nuclear strength rapidly to combat enemies.
South Korea and the United States started their annual joint military exercise ‘Ulchi Freedom Shield’ on Monday. This exercise of the two countries is part of the preparations to better combat the threats arising from North Korea rich in nuclear-hathiyar North Korea.
