JDU has supported the Modi government on the Waqf Bill Amendment Bill. Since then, CM Nitish Kumar’s party has been in a ruckus. The rebellion has started. Angered by supporting the bill, 4 Muslim leaders have left the party.

Among them, State Secretary of Minority Cell Mohammad Shahnawaz Malik, State General Secretary Si Mo. Tabrej Siddiqui Alig, party member from Bhojpur, Mo. Dilshan Raine, and Mohammad Qasim Ansari, who described himself as a former candidate from Dhaka assembly seat in Motihari, is included.

Both have expressed displeasure over the support on the Waqf Bill, saying that the party has broken the trust of millions of Muslims. However, the party has dismissed their claims, saying that they have nothing to do with the party.

Here, Independent MP from Purnia, Pappu Yadav, said that- ‘Nitish Kumar was secular, and will live .. but not the party’s leader. They are anti -reservation. He has no control over the party.

Resentment among Muslim leaders, said- Nitish breaks confidence

Mohammad Qasim Ansari said in a letter to the CM, ‘JDU has broken his secular image by supporting the Waqf Bill. The confidence of millions of Muslims is broken. Also, people have been hurt by Union Minister Lalan Singh’s speech in the Lok Sabha.

At the same time, Mohammad Shahnawaz Malik said, ‘Millions of crores of Muslims have been shocked with the support of JDU. Lalan Singh’s statement is very sad. I stayed in this party for many years. But now I am resigning.

Warning to fight legal battle

Edara-e-Sharia President and JDU leader former MLC Maulana Ghulam Rasul Balliavi has made a big statement on the Waqf Bill. He said that-‘Now there is no difference between communal and secular. Idare Sharia will hold a legal cell meeting in all the High Courts of the country. Will take a decision on this soon. Writing on the wall will not have to work with the mind.

Waqf board tried to snatch land

At the same time, JDU MLC Ghulam Gaus, close to CM Nitish Kumar, is also opposing this bill. He said, ‘The BJP government always works against Muslims. Through this bill, efforts are being made to snatch the land of Waqf Board. Many programs are run for the good of Muslims from the land near Waqf.

JDU bid- Nothing to do with the party

Reacting to these resignations from JDU, it has been said that Mohammad Qasim Ansari and Nawaz Malik are not in any official post of the party. The party clarified that these two leaders have nothing to do with the organizational structure of JDU.

JDU district president Manju Devi has said that Dr. Qasim Ansari is no longer a member of the party. Sharing a picture of Qasim Ansari, Dhaka Block President Nehal alleged that he was seen with Congress leaders. Nehal also challenged Qasim Ansari to present evidence related to JDU membership.

It is being told that he never contested on JDU ticket. Dr. Qasim Ansari had earlier joined AIMIM to make his mark in politics, but when he did not get a ticket from there, he contested the election. Qasim’s bail was forfeited.

It is also discussed that if he had to resign from the party, he should have handed over to the district president, but he directly addressed it to the Chief Minister and the State President.
