Operation Sindhu: 272 Indians from Iran, 3 Nepali citizens reached Delhi with aircraft

India has evacuated 272 Indians and three Nepali citizens from Iran after a conflict with Israel. A special aircraft took him to Delhi after midnight from the city of Irani. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that under Operation Sindhu, 272 Indians and 3 Nepali citizens were evacuated from Iran through a special flight, which reached New Delhi from Mashhad at 00:01 on June 26 at New Delhi. Under Operation Sindhu, 3426 Indian citizens have been brought home from Iran. India on Wednesday evacuated 296 Indian citizens and four Nepali citizens from Iran. India on Tuesday evacuated more than 1,100 citizens from Iran and Israel.

It has brought back more than 400 people from Israel using the C-17 heavy aircraft of the Indian Air Force, which were taken from Israel to Jordan and Egypt through the site transit points. In addition, 161 Indians were brought back from Amman by a chartered aircraft, which reached the capital of Jordan from Israel by road. According to the details shared by the Ministry of External Affairs, a total of 573 Indians, three Sri Lankan and two Nepali citizens were evacuated from Iran in two chartered flights.

In the last several days, Indian citizens evacuated from Iran have been brought back from several other flights. The tension increased significantly after the US bombing three major nuclear sites in the morning.
