One person arrested for killing an Indian student in Canada

An accused has been arrested in a case of death of a 21 -year -old Indian student Harsimrat Randhawa in Canada and accused of murder.

‘CBC News’ quoted the acting ‘Detective Sergeant’ Deril Reid as saying that the Hamilton Police on Tuesday arrested 32 -year -old accused Jerdine Foster from Niagra Falls of Ontario and also accused him in three cases of murder and attempt to murder.

Randhawa, a second -year student registered for physiotherapy syllabus at Mohock College, was shot on 17 April when she was standing near a bus stand at the intersection of ‘Upper James Street’ and ‘South Bend Road’. He was admitted to the hospital but later succumbed.

It is said that the Indian girl was standing on the bus and standing to cross the road when she was shot. ‘CBC News’ said that there was a firing during a dispute between at least seven people in four cars and in the meantime a bullet was parked near Harsimrat.

She quoted Reid as saying on Thursday, “Harsimrat was going home from a local gym, when she got shot and died.” No one has been arrested in this case.

Reid said, “The investigation is still going on and we will make every effort to identify, detect and arrest all those involved in the case.
