On what conditions the ceasefire with Pakistan happened, the government should tell: Ashok Gehlot

Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot said on Thursday that there are many questions in the mind of the public about the recent ceasefire with Pakistan, which should be answered by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -led government at the Center.

According to Gehlot, one of the questions in the public’s mind is that on what conditions the ceasefire between India and Pakistan took place? Gehlot wrote in a post on X, supporting the statement of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on the recent ceasefire with Pakistan, BJP President JP Nadda should understand that the question that is in the mind of the country, the same Leader of Opposition is asking the opposition opposition Rahul Gandhi- the country is not lost, the army has not lost, then why the scared government is our government.

The former Chief Minister wrote, how are Trump repeatedly putting pressure on India and talking about ceasefire? According to him, Rahul Gandhi is constantly putting the resentment of the countrymen before the government that when the Indian Army was constantly taking an edge over Pakistan in Operation Sindoor, why was the ceasefire under pressure from Trump.

He wrote in his post that after the Pahalgam attack, there was anger among the countrymen, according to which the army started action on terrorists and their refugee country Pakistan. The entire opposition was with the government led by Rahul Gandhi and the country was unitedly ready that this time the army is working to destroy terrorism completely. But a few minutes after Trump’s ceasefire tweet, the Government of India announced the ceasefire. This sent a negative message towards the government across the country. He wrote that even now there are these questions in the minds of the people of the country, which the BJP government should answer. Gehlot questioned why the terrorists who carried out the Pahalgam attack till now have not been caught. He also raised many more questions to the government.
