Today marks the 114th birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, an Indian freedom fighter who laid down his life for the country. Today, on this occasion, the country is remembering its hero.

Everyone is saluting Bhagat Singh on social media, many dignitaries of the country also tweeted on Tuesday and paid tributes to Bhagat Singh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also tweeted a tribute to Sardar Bhagat Singh. “Tribute to the great freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birthday,” PM Modi wrote in a tweet. The Prime Minister further wrote, “Bahadur Bhagat Singh lives in the heart of every Indian. His sacrifice of bravery has ignited the spark of patriotism in countless people. I salute him on his birthday and remember his noble ideals. ”

Bharatiya Janata Party president JP Nadda tweeted on the occasion on Tuesday. He wrote, “On the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji, on the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji, the great patriot, the great freedom fighter, the immortal son of Mother India. With his bravery and strength at an early age, to awaken the light of freedom in the minds of the people and your life will always burn the flame of patriotism among the youth. ”

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also tweeted to remember Bhagat Singh. Arvind Kejriwal said that on the birth anniversary of the great revolutionary Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh ji, the brave son of Bharat Mata, I salute him.

Sardar Bhagat Singh was born on 28 September 1907. Bhagat Singh was born in the village of Banga in the Punjab part of Pakistan. His family was already engaged in the war of independence against the British, later Bhagat Singh decided to follow the same path.
