On terrorist attacks, Javed Akhtar lashed Pakistan: He said- Pakistan flies away from repeated attacks, after all, where are these terrorists come from?

There is an atmosphere of anger across the country after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Many prominent Bollywood celebrities have expressed their displeasure over this attack. Meanwhile, during an event in Delhi, famous lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar strongly condemned the frequent incidents of such attacks and demanded strict action from the Government of India.

Javed Akhtar attended a FICCI program in Delhi. During this time, when he was questioned about the Pahalgam attack, he reacted strongly to Pakistan’s repeatedly dismissal of such attacks.

Javed Akhtar said, ‘Where do the terrorists come from? No one comes from Germany. We are associated with their boundaries and this cannot be ignored. The phenomenon of Pahalgam should be a significant turn. When such incidents occur frequently, stress is bound to be. In almost every few days or every year, some such sad incident comes to light.

Javed Akhtar said that the government in India has been of any party, whether it is Congress or BJP, all have always been in the intention of establishing peace. Giving the example of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he said that Vajpayee himself had gone to Pakistan, extended the hand of friendship. But what did Pakistan do in return? He washed the same land where our Prime Minister stepped into. Is it called friendship?

Javed Akhtar further said how dialogue with Pakistan is possible when he refused to take the bodies of his own soldiers during the Kargil war. He also said that even today 99 percent of Jammu and Kashmir people are loyal to India.

Recently, Akhtar expressed concern over the incident, referring to the attack on Kashmiri shawl vendors in Mussoorie. He said that when Kashmiri citizens are targeted in different parts of India, it is not only condemnable, but by doing so you are inadvertently emphasizing the false propaganda of Pakistan.

Javed Akhtar agreed with Pakistani artists ban

Javed Akhtar recently said on the ban on Pakistani artists that whatever happened in the present time, then there should be no question whether they are okay to ban or not. Because now friendly feeling for Pakistan is completely over. Along with this, he has said that it is completely unilateral to give Pakistani artists a chance to work in India as Lata Mangeshkar has not been allowed to have a performance in Pakistan till date.
