India’s Neeraj Chopra topped all the 12 finalists in their first attempt. His throw was 87.03 meters. Neeraj has also beaten the likes of Julian Weber and Johannes Waiter of Germany. Julian Weber threw the javelin 85.30 meters in the first attempt, while Johannes Waiter’s throw was 82.52 meters.

Neeraj Chopra made another brilliant throw in the second attempt. He threw the javelin 87.58 meters. In the third attempt, Neeraj Chopra’s throw did not go far. He was able to throw the javelin only 76.79 meters. Neeraj’s best throw is 87.58 meters. At the moment he is in the first place. Earlier, wrestler Bajrang Punia had won a bronze medal. With this, another medal has been added to India’s account. So far, India has won seven medals in the Olympics.
