Ojaswini 2.0 was organized in Patna Women’s College, women got respect

International Women’s Day Ojaswini 2.0 was organized by V PWC Gender Cell at Patna Women’s College. On this occasion women were given Courage Award by Patna Women’s College Alumni Association. Along with this, Rangoli making competition, self composed poem recitation, debate, poster making competition, thermocol plate painting competition and photography competition were organized. Its theme was women empowerment and gender equality.

Girl students performed on prayer dance, mime and western song

College Principal Dr. Sister Maria Rashmi AC started the program by blowing balloons. He said that through women empowerment we empower everyone and work on gender equality. Today’s day is special for every girl student. On this occasion, girl students presented prayer dance, mime and western song.

Courage Award Ceremony organized

On the occasion of Ojaswini 2.0, Patna Women’s College Alumni Association organized Courage Award Ceremony, in which women were honored who have made special contribution to the society and gender equality through their work. Empowerment sharing and tolerance are present in the word courage.

Awardees include transgender activist Anupriya Singh, Tarumitra-UN Youth Representative Devopriya Dutta, Senitrust biodegradable pads founder Richa Vatsayan and Prabhat Khabar journalist Juhi Smita. In the end, the winners of various competitions were awarded.

The whole event was organized under the leadership of Cultural Co-ordinator Dr. Sister Celine Crasta AC, Sameeksha Sinha and Enakshi De Biswas. Vice Principal Sister M Tanisha AC, Head of Alumni Association Dr. Amita Jaiswal along with teachers, first year girl students and members of the Student Council were present on the occasion.
