According to an official letter sent to the Chief Secretary of Punjab, the Indian government of the Government of India have confirmed suspended by senior IPS officer Surinder Pal Singh Parmar (PB: 1997) to suspend on June 23, 2025. This approved after a letter from the Punjab Government, the All India Services and Appeal, the All India Services and Appeal) rule under Rules, 1969, under the Rule 3 (1) of the 1969.
The letter in the letter advised the Punjab Government to issue a chargesheet against the officer from June 23, 2025 and requested that a copy of the chargesheet should be sent to the Ministry of Chargesheet. This action represents the following disciplinary action against the IPS officer.
