Kajol and Nusrat are bringing different Woman Centric Film, what would you say?
In the film ‘Chori’, she was Nusrat and we are taking the story forward there, so they are also in ‘Chori 2’. Yes, we have definitely included Soha Ali Khan this time. Here we have cast her in the role of a maid. At the same time, the film ‘Maa’ is coming with Kajol. His story was Alredi with Ajay Devgan Sir. Ajay sir chose me for this, it is a big deal for me. I am thankful that I got a chance to direct the film mother with such a big and best concept.
How much hard work has been done this time with Nusrat?
4-5 times more hard work has been done than Nusrat. In the time of Chori, there was a new problem in the horror, he was having some difficulty in understanding things. This time too, he had problems in the beginning, then he understood everything by himself. However, she is a great actress, she has done very good work in the first too. This time, when she came on the set, she knew so much that it would be the same. There is no comfort in this. So she had already been ready to get ready and she also gave her extra effort. His work is excellent and very powerful, he will see the audience on screen.
How was Soha Ali Khan cast in the film?
The character of Soha is our creation. While taking Soha, we were wondering how to bring him to the rural space. How to speak desi language and look Valley. Soha herself was not a conversion but when she read the entire script, took the narration, then the costumes were tried, she herself became a conversion. He also felt that this was a good character for him. Something new is, challenging. It has three prosthetic avatars in it and has played all three very well. He has done a lot of work.
How to give a big scale to the film, was there anything challenging this time during making?
This time the story is bigger than last time. We have shot it on a very large scale. When we wanted to make a big world, we were also making the set in a special way. This time there are very good sets. There are also many turns. In such a situation it was very typical to shoot. Be it technical team or actors, it was challenging for everyone how to work in such small places. Finally, we have been able to make a good film in a very compact budget. We try to offer something new.
This time too, the angle of feticide is seen in the film, is there any other subject?
Our wish is to give entertainment with horror. Say a special thing while intimidating people. Whatever wrong things are going on in our society, there are bad practices which should not happen. Give a message to that. There is a lot in the story this time too. A new topic will be seen, but as earlier we did not tell in the beginning what is in the film, this time it is also the same effort. First there should be entertainment, then the audience knows that the film is giving an important message. If I already tell, then it will not have a special impact.
