On Thursday, a student of nursing at Tirthankara Mahavir University in Pakbada area of Moradabad district committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of the college building on Thursday. This information was provided by the police
Police sources said here that Deeksha, a resident of Asmoli in Sambhal district, was a last semester student of BSC Nursing and died of falling from the building of Tirthankara Mahavir University under suspicious circumstances.
Yogesh Mavi, in -charge of Pakbada police station, said that Deeksha had come to college by bus and went to take the exam with 16 other students at 2.10 pm. He told that after the examination was over, other students left from there but Deeksha stayed there.
She told that after a while she went to the gallery and jumped from a window. He said that he was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Police said CCTV footage is being investigated and statements of witnesses are being recorded. There have been cases of suicide of girl students and some faculty members in the Tirthankara Mahavir University campus.
