NRC will remain in Bengal: Rahul Sinha said, Mamata is spreading confusion; Accused of harboring infiltrators

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rahul Sinha on Friday targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for opposing the Special Intensification Amendment (SIR) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and alleged that the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) was winning elections by harboring Bangladeshi infiltrators. Sinha said that first let the SIR be done, then NRC will be done. Chief Minister, rest assured, SIR is not being done to remove the names of real voters.

Rahul Sinha said that you gave shelter to Muslim infiltrators who came from Bangladesh and added the names of Rohingya Muslims to the voter list, the names of those who have died were also added to the voter list. This is the basis of your victory and when the Election Commission interfered in this basis, you started shouting. Accusing Chief Minister Banerjee of “spreading confusion” over the voter list revision and NRC, the BJP leader reiterated that the SIR is not removing names of genuine voters.
The BJP leader said that the NRC law has been passed, and it will definitely happen… and it will happen in front of Mamata Banerjee; That is why Mamata Banerjee is spreading confusion. The BJP leader stressed that there will be a SIR and purification of the voter list. Sinha’s comments come a day after the West Bengal Chief Minister alleged that the BJP was using the SIR as an excuse to implement the NRC and remove names from the voter list.
