Chandigarh: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has taken an important decision to conduct the 10th and 12th class examinations to be held in March 2024 and declare the results. The board has decided that now all the work related to the exams from filling the admission form in the schools will be done according to the pre-determined schedule. If a school does not do this work on time then it alone will be responsible for it. PSEB has sent orders to all schools in this regard and advised them to follow the rules strictly.
Around seven lakh students appear for the class 10th and 12th exams conducted by PSEB every year, but every time the board has to change the admission dates and other schedules at the last minute. Due to this, apart from declaring the results of these classes, many other problems arise.
Along with this, the new session was also postponed while now the academic calendar has been prepared by the education department. In such a situation, the board does not want any negligence in any work. Board Chairperson Satbir Bedi is also taking this matter seriously.
