Yash Dayal has been accused of sexual abuse by making false promises of marriage. Also, the section under which an FIR has been filed against him is non -bailable. If Yash Dayal is found guilty, he can be sentenced to 10 years long. However, Yash Dayal is not the first cricketer who has been accused of sexual exploitation. He has faced such cases earlier and these include 2 world champions.
There are many cricketers around the world who have been accused of sexual exploitation at some time. Due to which its impact on his career has also been seen. However, some of them could not prove the charges on cricketers.
Lasith Malinga
Former Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga has achieved a place worldwide on the basis of his bowling. Many people all over the world are still convinced of his bowling. But Malinga is also badly caught in the case of sexual abuse. He was accused by a woman on social media, but no formal case was made against him. Currently, Lasith Malinga is currently the bowling coach of the IPL franchise Mumbai Indians.
Arjun Ranatunga
At the same time, former captain Arjun Ranatunga, who won the World Cup in Sri Lanka in 1996, has also been accused of tampering in the hotel in the year 2018. But no formal case was registered against them.

These two players of England were accused
England county cricketers Alex Hepburn and Shiv Thakore have been found guilty in the case of rape and sexual harassment. In 2019, Hepburn was accused of rape with his fellow cricketer’s friend and was later found guilty. The investigation even revealed that the player used to have sexual harassment by betting. Talking about Shiv Thakore, these players were found guilty of pornography in front of two women in 2017, after which he was sentenced to community service and he remained in the list of sexual harassment criminal for 5 years.
