RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said on Tuesday that the opposition will work together to make Congress MP Rahul Gandhi Prime Minister in the next Lok Sabha elections. His comment gives clear indications that Rahul Gandhi can be presented as the Prime Minister’s face in the 2029 general elections. The RJD leader said that on the next Lok Sabha elections, we will work towards making Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister. Yadav made this comment in the presence of Tejashwi Yadav, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, leading the ‘Voter Rights’ rally in Nawada, Bihar.

Addressing the rally, Yadav also said that now the time has come for the younger generation to get a chance to run the state. Yadav said that the Nitish Kumar -led government has become ‘Khatara’ and it needs to be replaced immediately. The youth should now get a chance … We have a vision for Bihar. The youth have taken a pledge that they will remove this old and dilapidated government from power and will make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister after the next Lok Sabha elections. Yadav reiterated that a special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar is a deliberate attempt to deprive people of their franchise.
