Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani welcomed their first daughter on July 16. On Friday, the Shershah couple announced their daughter’s name through a joint Instagram post. The couple named their daughter Saraya. They have not revealed the meaning of the name, but it is said to mean “princess” or “noble lady”.

In a joint Instagram post, the new parents revealed that they have named their daughter Saraya Malhotra. Sharing a photo, which shows the baby’s tiny feet in Kiara and Sidharth’s palms, the couple wrote, “From our prayers, to our arms…our God’s blessings, our princess, Saraya Malhotra.”
The couple have named their baby girl Saraya, which is derived from the Hebrew name Sarah, which means exotic princess. This announcement received a lot of love from fans, friends and colleagues of the film industry. The post revealing the name shows her pregnancy announcement, with her holding a tiny pair of baby socks. This time, the same socks are visible again, now covering Saraya’s little feet.

Kiara and Siddharth got married in February 2023. She had announced her pregnancy in February this year. After this the couple stayed away from the media and decided to enjoy this phase quietly. The couple welcomed their daughter in July this year. Sidharth and Kiara, who worked together in the critically acclaimed film Shershaah, have been one of the most loved couples of Bollywood.
On the work front, Kiara was last seen in War 2. Sidharth Malhotra made his web debut with Rohit Shetty’s series Indian Police Force. He was also seen in Yodha, which flopped at the box office.
