New circuit house to be built at Pathankot: Tender process started

New Circuit House at Pathankot: The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has decided to build a new circuit house at Pathankot. In this regard, the public works department, Punjab has started the tender process.

Giving this information, Public Works Minister of Punjab Harbhajan Singh ETO said that the total area of โ€‹โ€‹this circuit house will be 22800 square feet, where two floors will be constructed apart from the ground. He said that a total of 12 rooms have been proposed here, including 2 VIP sets. Apart from this, a conference hall and a drawing room will be constructed.

The Public Works Minister further informed that administrative approval has been received from the Hospitality Department Punjab for the newly constructed circuit house at Pathankot and tenders have been called for this work. He said that the target has been set to complete this project in the next 6 months.

It is worth mentioning that district Pathankot is bordered by Himachal Pradesh on one side and Jammu and Kashmir on the other side, due to which there was no proper accommodation arrangement for the stay of guests, officials and other special persons coming from all over the country, due to which the state government Construction of Circuit House at Pathankot was encouraged by
