Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has allowed a limited quantity of food items to Gaza. Israel had banned the arrival of food and drink in Gaza from 2 March.
According to the Times of Israel’s report, the War Cabinet of Israel took the decision on Sunday on the advice of military officials. However, voting was not done in the cabinet as many ministers were against this decision.
Internal Security Minister Itmar Ben Gwir and other right -wing leaders criticized the decision, saying that it is like giving ‘oxygen’ to Hamas. The first Hamas must be abolished.

American agency will distribute food, not UN agency
According to the report, help will be provided for a week in Gaza. During this time, Israel will set up new distribution centers to distribute food in Gaza. These centers will be under the supervision of the Israeli army. It will be operated by American companies.
Under the new system, the people of Gaza will be given help through Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). However, many aid agencies have criticized the scheme. He says that this leads to a violation of human rights.
