Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) president Rabi Lamichhane was allegedly released from jail by protesters in Nakkhu Jail on Tuesday afternoon. According to reports, the purpose of their release was to ensure the safety of other prisoners amid unrest. Lamichhane, detained in cooperative savings matters, addressed the crowd in a video shared on social media by RSP Central Member Krantishikha Dhital.
