After spending nine days under the protection of the Nepali army, the disorganized Prime Minister K.K. P. Sharma left the Oli military barrack and went to a private residence. Oli went into the barrack as soon as the protests of ‘Jane-Z’ became violent and left the post on September 9.
This barrack is probably in the Shivpuri forest area north of Kathmandu. ‘Jane Z’ is called a generation that has been born between 1997 and 2012. Sources in the Nepal Army have confirmed that the Nepali Communist Party (Integrated Marxist-Leninian) (CPN-UML) president has moved to a private place after nine days under the army’s security. However, information about their stay location has not been made public yet.
According to media reports, Oli has gone to live in a private house in Gundu area of Bhaktapur district, 15 km east of Kathmandu. On the second day of the protest, on September 9, ‘Jane Z’ protesters burnt their residence in Balkot in Bhaktapur to ashes.
The Prime Minister’s Office at Balakot was partially burnt by ‘Jane Z’ protesters on September 9 and at that time Oli was at the official residence of the Prime Minister of Nepal. However, with the help of Nepal’s army, Oli escaped safely and the army sent a helicopter to save them.
