Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Sunday made a direct attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Pilot alleged that Nitish Kumar loves his ‘power and chair’ more than the people of the state, due to which he has become helpless in front of BJP.
BJP’s crutches will be taken away
While talking to the media in Patna, Sachin Pilot referred to the results of the Lok Sabha elections. He said that BJP had claimed to ‘cross 400’ in the Lok Sabha elections, but could not even get 250 seats.
Pilot taunted that BJP had to depend on the ‘crutches’ of Bihar and Andhra Pradesh to form the government at the Centre. He expressed confidence that after the results of Bihar Assembly elections, these ‘crutches’ of BJP will be taken away.

Pilot said, the love of the chair made him helpless
Pilot accused Nitish Kumar of changing his stand. He reminded that Nitish Kumar is the same person who once sent the cut nails of hundreds of Bihar people by courier in protest against PM Modi’s ‘questioning on DNA’. Pilot said that now due to his attachment to the chair, he has become helpless in front of the BJP.
Questions on promises of double engine government
Attacking the NDA’s ‘double engine’ government’s claim, Pilot said, ‘This double engine has failed on every front.’ Raising questions on Prime Minister Modi’s Bihar roadshow, he asked, Modi ji, tell me, how many promises of special package, investment and employment generation of Rs 1.25 lakh crore did he fulfill?
Pilot said that the students protesting against unemployment were lathicharged on the same roads through which PM Modi will pass.

trust of grand alliance
Pilot alleged that the NDA is misleading the public and ‘making new false promises despite old unfulfilled promises.’ He said that if there is ‘concrete intention’ then it is possible to provide extensive employment to the youth. Pilot expressed confidence that the Grand Alliance will ‘easily cross the magic figure of majority’ in the Bihar Assembly elections.
Comment on Anant Singh’s arrest
Pilot also cornered the Nitish government on the arrest of JDU candidate Anant Singh from Mokama. He said that this arrest was made ‘under public pressure’. Pilot said that NDA leaders talk about ‘Jungle Raj’, but ‘Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is directly responsible for what is happening under his rule.’
